New Sound Control Technology

Noise pollution is a problem in all societies. In Japan, sounds above 70dB are classified as noise. The development of technologies to suppress noise pollution was given a boost by the large increase in online conferencing during the COVID pandemic. To prevent a speaker's voice disturbing other people in the room not part of a remote meeting, a new mask-type device uses a special internal mechanism to absorb and prevent sound leakage. Another common source of noise pollution is construction and repair work, and a wide range of materials, tools and technologies have been developed to combat this. New sound control technology is helping improve the Japanese workplace.

職場を騒音から守れ

社会の公害と言われる騒音。日本では７０デシベルを超える音を騒音とするのが一般的だ。騒音を抑えるため、日本は様々な技術を生み出している。コロナ後に定着したオンライン会議。話し手の声が周りに与える影響が大きい。そこで登場したのがマスク型の減音デバイス。内部に音を吸収する仕組みがあり、周囲に迷惑をかけない。生活に大きな影響を与える工事現場の騒音に対しても、工具から出る音を減らしたり、音漏れを防ぐ壁が開発された。日本の技術が労働環境の改善に貢献する。

治理職場噪音
